当地时间11月20日，在《联合国气候变化框架公约》第29次缔约方大会（COP29）蓝区中国角举办了“循环经济助力应对气候变化的中外实践”主题边会。COP29中国代表团团长、生态环境部副部长赵英民在致辞时呼吁，希望发达国家加大对发展中国家的资金支持和技术转让，期待这次大会达成更有力度的新资金目标，为下阶段全球气候行动提供信心和保障。

赵英民表示，在中国，循环经济生机蓬勃。从国家层面的《循环经济发展战略规划》到地方政府的积极探索，从工业废弃物资源化利用到农业循环经济的推广，从城市垃圾分类到“无废城市”建设，循环经济已成为推动生态文明建设、实现高质量发展的关键力量。特别是近年来，中国在新能源、绿色建筑、新能源汽车等领域取得的显著成就，不仅展现了应对气候变化的决心，也为全球循环经济实践贡献了宝贵经验。
